Perri and Neil Play Serafinowicz Event – 1st April
On Friday 1st April, Perri and Neil will be one of a number of musical artists performing specially chosen cover versions of songs at the behest of Liverpool-born actor, comedian and impersonator Peter Serafinowicz.
The event, IN CONVERSATION WITH PETER SERAFINOWICZ, at St George’s Concert Hall Liverpool, will feature interviews with the prolific actor and comic and will feature songs of Peter’s choosing performed by a host of great Liverpool musicians also including Keith Mullen (The Farm).
During
the event the ex-Bluecoat school boy will talk about his incredible career which has seen him take on such varied roles as Duane Benzie, Simon Pegg’s arch-nemesis in Spaced, the USA-obsessed Tex from I’m Alan Partridge, a Tomorrow’s World style scientist in the Open University-inspired Look Around You not to mention a plethora of bizarre and hilarious characters in the self-titled sketch series, The Peter Serafinowicz Show.
Audience members will hope
to hear some of the now infamous and scarily accurate vocal impersonations that have helped make Serafinowicz the phenomenon he is today, a talent which has recently seen him land a job of voicing the role of Sir Paul McCartney in the upcoming 3D viagra 50mg remake of Yellow Submarine.
The event is part of a series of Geek Chic events, which feature conversations with some of Liverpool’s finest alumni. Previous events with Mike McCartney, Janice Long, Ian St John and David Morrissey, have featured some wonderful musicians including The Katona Twins, Sense of Sound Singers, Ragz and Ian Prowse.
